I had a CT scan done last Tuesday and today I had an appointment to review the scan. The main purpose was to see if my lymph node had changed in size or if there was any cancer spreading in any other areas in my chest. My lymph node is a normal size with no other abnormalities going on in the area. My doctor also said that my tumors in my breast resemble fibroids more than tumors at this point. He showed me my past PET scan from October and the CT scan from last week and the difference in the size of the tumors was amazing.
So thank you all for your prayers, it has been a battle emotionally for me lately, and I am so thankful that I am covered in prayers and love from you all. Right now as I write this it is snowing outside. It seems so celebratory to me, as if white confetti was falling from heaven rejoicing with me. The snow also reminds me that despite what might be going on inside my body, I am made whiter than snow by the sacrifice and blood of Jesus. Nothing can separate me from this mysterious love and I can rest secure in Christ whether the news I receive is good like today, or hard as it has been in the past.
Please continue to pray as we move forward from this place of good news. Here are a few things...
~ For my body to continue to do well with the meds I'm on and that I can be diligent with caring for my body. That the Lord would protect me from side affects and toxic overload.
~I have a PET scan scheduled for May 10th please pray for a good report and a clear scan!!
~Please pray for my husband and children as we try to continue to daily live life together while on this journey.
